MSIHK Soundscape

This public map collects environmental recordings made for the MSIHK project. Each pin is a place where a researcher listened and recorded — a street, market, station, park, or room. Open a pin to hear how that place sounded on that day. Titles and notes are in Chinese and English.

How to use

1. Open the map. Move and zoom as you would on any street map.
2. A numbered circle means several recordings share the same GPS. Tap the number to spread the pins.
3. Tap a pin to play the recording. On a phone, the player sits in a card at the bottom so the map stays visible.
4. Use Search or Filters for location, KEY, listening mode, valence, or whether a pin has audio.
5. On a phone, tap Filters at the top when you need search. Tap the map or × to close.

Headphones recommended. Some clips are several minutes long.
